Welcome to College Counseling! The college process can be a daunting and intimidating process. But it doesn't have to be. We are here to help you through it. Think of it as an adventure and enjoy it!

The College Counseling Office at Porter-Gaud School has developed a structured advising program to provide you with information, advice, support and resources. We will meet with each student and his/her parent to develop a comprehensive list of schools for the student to consider. Students must take ownership of this process and figure out what is important to their growth and development, and where they will thrive and be happy.

The college selection process is all about fit; not about name recognition or prestige but where each student will find his/her niche and soar. We will help you find that place!
