The Porter-Gaud Alumni Association
The purpose of the Porter-Gaud Alumni Association is to uphold the ideals, goals, and traditions of the school and to work in cooperation with the School to advance and further its mission and interests. In addition the Association will aim to preserve and promote loyalty, continuing interest, and active participation of its members in all programs developed to promote the general welfare and progress of Porter-gaud School. In carrying out these general purposes, the Association shall strive at all times to provide and maintain mutual beneficial relations between the members of this Association and School, its Trustees, faculty, and students.
Any person who has attended and/or graduated from the Watt School, the Gaud School for Boys, the Porter Military Academy, and the Porter-Gaud School, shall be a member of the Association unless he/she specifically requests that they no longer want to be considered an alumnus.
The Alumni Association, consisting of an elected group of officers, with the President serving as an ex-officio member of the Board of Trustees of the School. The Association meets monthly during the course of the academic school year.
