Computer
ACCESSING PARENT PORTALS, MY PG, Smartphone Apps, and Messages XR
STEP 1: From a desktop, laptop computer, or iPad, log into the Parent Portal from portergaud.edu using the menu on the right side of the page.
STEP 3: To log into MY PG, the LOGIN will ask for your user name. Your user name is your primary email address. Enter it and then select "Help signing in or have a password sent."
Once you have received your password, return to login and enter your user name and password.
STEP 2: Every division has a parent portal landing page with division announcements, news, calendar (public), and links to My PG (password protected).
STEP 4: Once you are logged in to MY PG, you can: Select your child's name to review their schedule, assignments, conduct, etc; Review the Calendar that has been color-coded by division; Click on Directories to view by parents or students, or select Resources to review your Resource Board (this is the default).
Mobile
Accessing the Parent PortalS and My PG:
STEP 1: From your iOS or Android phone, log into the Parent Portal from portergaud.edu.
STEP 2: The LOGIN will ask for your user name. Your user name is your primary email address. Enter it and then select "Help signing in or have a password sent."
Once you have received your password, return to login and enter your user name and password.
STEP 3: Once you are logged in to MY PG, you can:
- Select your child's name to review their schedule, assignments, conduct, etc.
- Review the Calendar that has been color-coded by division.
- Click on Directories to view by parents or students.
- Select Resources to review your Resource Board.
Please note: The dashboard experience is more powerful on a laptop or iPad, but the iOS and Android experiences are responsive and mobile-friendly.

Blackbaud Portal (MyPG)
Blackbaud ID (new)
Beginning September 27, 2022, all Porter-Gaud parents are required to transition to a new ID system to continue accessing MyPG. The new ID will use the same email address currently affiliated with your MyPG profile. Please complete the steps below to register your email address through Blackbaud, our student information system vendor.
Step 1
On or after September 27, use your computer or mobile device to log into MyPG, enter your email address as your user name, and click “Next.”
Step 2
Click continue.
Step 3
Option 1: Create an account - Enter a password, your first and last name, then select “sign up.” You may choose the same password you are using now.
Option 2: Sign up with Google - If your MyPG email is a Gmail account, you may select the “Sign up with Google” button and authenticate through Google. If you choose this option, you will sign in using credentials managed by you in your personal Google account, and the school will not be able to help you reset passwords.
Step 4
The system will ask you to confirm your email address within 24 hours. Please look for an email similar to the one in the screenshot below and click “Confirm.” Once this step is complete, you will use this email address as your username to log into MyPG.
Troubleshooting Tips
If you have trouble logging into MyPG:

Make sure you log into MyPG at https://portergaud.myschoolapp.com (not www.blackbaud.com).

Make sure you use your email address as your username.

Search “portergaud.myschoolapp.com” and delete autofill suggestions for this website. This prevents your web browser from trying to log you in using previously saved MyPG account information.

Clearing your cache can fix login troubles when you change login usernames. Below is a list of help pages to assist you in clearing your browser history and deleting your browser cache and cookies for several web browsers:
If you get an error message:

If you get a message that says “user account does not exist,” your web browser was used to login to a student's Blackbaud account in the past. Look for a window that says "continue with (Microsoft) login or use another email address" and click the “use another email” button. If you want to login to different Blackbaud accounts on the same web browser, set up different profiles or use incognito/private mode. Alternatively, clear the web browser cache and search for and delete autofill entries to remove student login info.

If you get a message that says "user already exists," go to the login page, enter your email address, and click the “forgot password” button. You will receive an email with a password reset link.
