Volunteer Opportunities for Halloween Festivities

Dear Lower and Middle School Parents and Caregivers,

Please help the PGPA transform Porter-Gaud's campus into a festive and spooky place for the month of October! There are several ways to get involved:

• Plan: The Halloween Carnival Committee's first meeting is on Thursday, September 17, at 8:15 a.m. in Washington Hall. All are welcome to attend and learn more about how to help make this event a success!

• Decorate: We will gather on Sunday, October 4, from 1-4 p.m. to decorate the Lower and Middle Schools. Those who help decorate on October 4 will receive priority access to the limited volunteer sign-up slots to work the Halloween Carnival taking place on October 30. Sign up here.

• Donate: Please consider contributing to decorations and treats to make the Halloween Carnival extra special for the kids. Sign up here.

• Clean Up: We will gather on Sunday, November 1, from 1-4 p.m. to clean up the Lower and Middle School decorations. Sign up here.

The Halloween Carnival will take place during the school day on Friday, October 30. The event will kick off with the Senior and Lower School Parade at 9 a.m. Parents of Seniors and First Graders only are invited for coffee and to watch the Parade. Please note that only volunteers working at the Halloween Carnival are allowed to attend the Carnival. Again, those who help decorate on October 4 (sign up here) will receive early access to the volunteer sign-up sheet.
