During these advisory periods, students will discuss course selections for next year with their advisors. These meetings are intended for discussion and guidance; students will not finalize course requests during these sessions. Tuesday, March 17 B Block: 8:20 – 9:35 Wednesday, March 18 F Block: 9:15 – 10:30 Prom 2026 — Light Up the NightProm 2026 is coming soon, but there is an important deadline before Spring Break for anyone planning to bring a guest. Guest Forms Due April 2 If you plan to bring a non–Porter-Gaud guest, your guest form must be submitted by Thursday, April 2. Because Spring Break runs from April 3–12, this deadline comes well before prom night. Please be sure to complete and submit the guest form before leaving for Spring Break. Service this week and nextRegister Now: 2026 Walk for Water: Saturday, March 21, at North Charleston Riverfront Park – We are less than one month away from the annual Water Mission Walk for Water, and we want the Porter-Gaud community to show up in full force! This impactful event helps raise awareness and funds to provide sustainable, safe water solutions to people in developing countries and disaster areas. Join our school team today to help us meet our goal and walk in solidarity with those who must walk miles every day for water. Register here: Walk for Water PG Team Registration Water Mission – Walk Preparation Volunteers Monday, March 9 | 3:45–4:25 p.m. Students will assist Water Mission by helping prepare materials and supplies for the upcoming Walk for Water, supporting access to safe drinking water around the world. Location: 1150 Molly Greene Way, Building 1605, North Charleston Tutor and Mentor Students at WINGS Tuesday, March 10 | 3:45–4:20 p.m. Students will volunteer with WINGS, providing tutoring and mentorship to local students while helping encourage confidence and academic growth. Location: 265 Fishburne Street, Charleston Blood Drive vs. Pinewood Prep Thursday, March 12 | 8:00 AM–2:00 p.m. Students and faculty are invited to donate blood through The Blood Connection to help save lives in our local hospitals. Let’s show our school spirit by out-donating Pinewood Prep. Location: Blood Connection Bus (Front of School) Hallie Hill Animal Sanctuary Service Trip Friday, March 13 | 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. Students will volunteer at Hallie Hill Animal Sanctuary assisting with animal care and learning about community animal welfare. Location: Hallie Hill Animal Sanctuary Special Olympics Unified Sports Day Saturday, March 14 | 3:00–5:00 PM Students will serve as unified partners for a day of sports and inclusive competition, celebrating teamwork and friendship. College Counseling UpdatesService Academy Day Students interested in service academies are invited to attend Upstate South Carolina Service Academy Day. Saturday, March 14 Students and families will meet representatives from the service academies and learn about the congressional nomination process. Juniors Continue scheduling Family Meetings.
