TOMORROW (Friday), in honor of our 150th Day of our 150th year of school, we would like for you to wear your 150th PG anniversary tee shirt (with uniform on the bottom)! If you do not have one, please wear your PG polo. There will NOT be spirit dress on Friday. (you either need to be in the 150th tee shirt, or regular PG polo)

*****Prom tickets on sale Wed, Thurs, Fri, during lunch either outside near S&T or new US building depending on the weather. Tickets are $25 each, please don't wait until the last minute! Guest forms for non-PG students are available from Mrs. Frazier or at the ticket sales table.



All 10th and 11th grade AP students should attend the AP pre-registration session in Gwynette Auditorium on Thursday (April 19th) during Community. Attendance is required for all 10th and 11th grade AP students.

(Note - if you are taking AP Art ONLY, you do not need to attend the pre-registration session)

Please bring a number 2 pencil and your social security number with you.

Honor Council Application Update: The application deadline has passed for Freshmen and the election for this rep will be Thursday in the library at community. We are still in need of at least one additional candidate in the 10th grade and 2 additional candidates in the 11th grade. Please see Dr. Gates or Mrs. Hyde if you are interested in submitting an application to run. The sophomore and junior elections will be held next week.

Students, in order to appeal a department recommendation for course placement next year and to be reconsidered for an AP or Honors placement, please meet with the respective department chair to request an appeals form, starting Wednesday, April 18. You must meet with the dept. chair in order to submit a form. All completed forms are due back to department chairs by Friday, April 27th, and will not be accepted after this deadline.



SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS

Any students intending to participate in varsity cheer tryouts should pick up an informational packet from Coach Salley's office in the Wendell Center.


There will be an informational meeting for ALL swimmers interested in swimming for the PG swim team on Thursday, April 19 immediately after school in Coach Downing's classroom (S&T 214). If you are unable to attend for any reason, please let Coach Downing know.

Appeals Forms for Honors Biology can be obtained from Mr. Martin. His office is next to Mrs. Flynn's room OR classroom 212. They are due back on Friday, April 27th.

There will be an informational meeting for ALL swimmers (rising 6th grade through rising 12th grade) interested in swimming for the PG swim team today immediately after school in Coach Downing's classroom (S&T 214). If you are unable to attend for any reason, please let Coach Downing know.

Does your homeroom want to win a fantastic prize? Well your chance is NOW! Beginning next week, the Service Club will be collecting toiletries such as hair ties, combs, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, soap, etc. to create bags for the homeless. Bring items into your homeroom Monday through the 27th for a chance to help those in need!

Next Week is Stand Against Racism Week. We will have a $2 Dress Down Day on Tuesday. All proceeds go to Mother Emanuel AME Church.
