Chris Osborne ’95 is a partner and wealth advisor at Family Asset Management, an independent registered investment advisory firm in Charleston. He has many connections to Porter-Gaud: alumnus, PG Athletic Hall of Fame member, Current Parent, outgoing President of the PG Alumni Association and member of the PG Foundation Investment Committee. Chris is a graduate of The University of the South (Sewanee). He and his wife Libba have two sons at PG – Granger (Class of 2026) and Caldwell (Class of 2030).

Eric is a Senior Equity Analyst and Portfolio Manager with RBC Global Asset Management, working with their US Equity funds.  He was raised on James Island and graduated from Porter-Gaud in 1991, having attended since first grade.  He has a B.A. from Davidson College and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.  He and his wife Kristen have 2 boys at Porter-Gaud - Ben (class of 2028) and Nathan (class of 2030), whom he enjoys coaching in obstacle course racing.  

Courtney is a former Managing Director of the JPMorgan Private Bank in Chicago, where she managed private banking relationships for ultra high-net-worth individuals and families in the Midwestern U.S. She was responsible for approximately 80 client relationships with total client assets of over $5.0 billion. She was named one of the “Top 100 Women Financial Advisers” in the United States by The Winner’s Circle and Barron’s Magazine, as well as one of the “Top 50 Financial Advisors” by Chicago Magazine. During her 14-year tenure with the firm, she also worked in Debt Capital Markets/Swaps Marketing and Investment Banking. Courtney received her B.A. in Mathematics and Economics from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill (1993), where she graduated summa cum laude and was a Morehead-Cain Scholar. She received her MBA from Harvard University (1999).

Courtney is active in a variety of community activities. She served two consecutive terms on the UNC College of Arts and Sciences Foundation Board, which supports the efforts of the largest and broadest college within UNC. She served as Past Chair, Chair and Vice-Chair of the Sullins Academy Board (an independent private school in Bristol, VA), where she also sat on the Advancement, Finance, Investment and Executive Committees. She served on the Board of Directors of the Eleanor Foundation and Lincoln Park Zoo Women’s Board in Chicago, as well as the Board of Visitors of the University of North Carolina. She participated in the selection process of the Morehead-Cain Scholarship by sitting on the Central Selection Committee and Asheville Regional Selection Committees and acting as an alumni reader. She has been a member of the Junior Leagues in New York, Chicago, Bristol TN/VA and Charleston, SC. She enjoys work-outs, violin, tennis, fishing, reading and traveling. She currently resides in Charleston, SC with her husband Philip and their two children, Charles (2021) and Sarah-Courtney (2022).

Jim Buxton is the managing partner of Buxton & Collie, LLC, a boutique corporate, real estate, estate planning and tax law firm. His practice focuses in the areas of private equity and securities, domestic and international corporate transactions, capital finance, contract negotiation and corporate governance. He deals regularly with corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships, shareholder buy-outs and dispute resolution, executive employment agreements and, business purchase and sale agreements including business succession issues.

Jim returned to Charleston in 2007 after practicing at two AmLaw 50 firms, Alston & Bird LLP in Atlanta, Georgia, and Hunton & Williams LLP in Richmond, Virginia. He is a Charleston native who graduated from Porter-Gaud School, Princeton University, and the University of South Carolina School of Law. He has been named to the SuperLawyers list for Business Law and Legal Elite of South Carolina for Corporate, Securities and Mergers & Acquisitions. Mr. Buxton is also a member of the State Bars of Georgia, South Carolina and Virginia. Jim resides in Mt. Pleasant with his wife, Courtney, and two children, Hugh ’25 and Julian ’27.

DuBose Egleston Jr. has been at Porter-Gaud for 19 years and just competed his 10th year as the Head of School.  He attended O’Quinn and then Porter-Gaud for 12 years, graduating in 1993. DuBose enjoys working around young people and watching them grow up in the years they are at PG. He is proud of PG's excellent faculty and staff, and enjoys being a part of a school family that sees so much hope and promise in the next generation. DuBose enjoys sailing and almost any outdoor activity.  He and his family have a farm in Bamberg County, and he enjoys the forestry work and time spent on his tractor.  DuBose and his wife, Nancy, are grateful to have their three children (DuBose, Mills, and Ellie) at Porter-Gaud.

Bill owns WME Capital, LLC., an advisory business that offers strategies to Investment Management firms. Previously, he held positions as the CEO of Evergreen Investments and Executive Vice President of Wachovia Bank. He was also the President of Morgan Stanley’s Global Asset Management business.

Bill grew up in Quincy, Ma and attended Emerson College. He is married to Ruth Ennis and they have 3 boys, two of which, Ryan and Patrick graduated from Porter-Gaud School.

Bill founded the ALS Chapter of South Carolina, is Head of the Low Country Women’s Tennis League, coaches Youth Soccer and is involved with many volunteer efforts. He is an avid tennis player and runner. Bill and Ruth live on Daniel Island.

Jeff is Executive Vice President and Head of Fixed Income for Congress Asset Management Co., an independent investment management firm located in Boston, MA that offers portfolio management and advisory services to institutions, individuals, trusts, private funds, charitable organizations, and investment companies.  Jeff’s prior investment experience includes managing fixed income, alternative investments and asset allocation for The North Carolina Retirement Systems, Partners HealthCare System Inc. and Prelude Asset Management.  He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation. 

Jeff is a native of North Carolina.  He graduated from NC State University with a BA in Accounting and a BA in Business Management and also earned his MBA from East Carolina University.  Jeff has been married to Linda since 2002.  They have one son, Beauregard (Beau) Victor Porter (PG ’23).

Prior to taking the helm of the Foundation, Craig served as Vice President at Bernstein Private Wealth Management in Washington, DC and before that as Associate Development Director at Episcopal High School (EHS) in Alexandria, VA. He is a graduate of EHS and has a B.A. and M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. He and his wife, Cricket, live in Mt. Pleasant and have three children, Ansley, Craig and Lee. He served on the boards of an Episcopal retirement community foundation, a military museum and education-focused nonprofit in the Washington area before moving to South Carolina. He loves college sports and reading--mostly novels.

Raj Mallawaaratchy is in his first year as Head of Finance for Porter-Gaud. Raj comes to PG from The Blake School in Minnesota. Prior to 8 years of independent schools, Raj spent nearly 20 years in the corporate world with Xerox and Nokia in strategic business and financial planning, internal controls & audit processes both in the US and Internationally. Raj is a graduate of Iowa State University with a degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from University of Saint Thomas. Raj and his wife Manjula have three kids at PG (Tiana '26, Shalini '28, and Ramin '30).

Steve is Co-Portfolio Manager of the U.S. Small and Mid-Cap Equity Strategy at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co.  Steve previously was a Portfolio Manager at IronBridge Capital Management in Chicago from 2010 to 2018 and prior to that was Managing Partner of Apis Capital in Greenwich from 2004 to 2010.  Steve received a B.A. from the University of Virginia.  He also received a Masters of Management from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management and is a CFA charter holder.  Steve also serves on the Board of Kids on Point in Charleston, and chairs the Philanthropy Council for School Year Abroad in North Andover, MA.  

Two of Steve’s sons - Steven and Nelson - graduated from PG in 2016 and 2018, and his son Hugh is PG Class of 2023.
