Week Ahead 10/28 - 11/1A Week with Special Schedule Thursday & Conferences FridayDaily Schedule
Lunch & Learn with Dr. MallahDr. Mike Mallah will be introducing our campus to MUSC's Global Surgery Program on Wednesday, Oct. 30th from 1-1:45. Lunch will be provided by the service program. The MUSC Global Surgery Program leverages global relationships to create bidirectional clinical education, research, and innovation opportunities that improve care of the surgical patients in low- and middle-income countries (LMIC) and developed nations alike. In doing so, the Program aims to be the premier international partner for academic surgical institutions worldwide. After he introduces us to the program, we will learn about ways we can support this extremely important work that is happening worldwide. Fall Play TicketsCome and see this year’s fall play- Dracula: a Comic Thriller Starring Shirley Holmes and Jennie Watson! There are two shows; Saturday, November 2 at 7 p.m and Sunday, November 3 at 3 p.m. The actors have been working very hard to present this new twist on an old story, and we so look forward to seeing you there! Purchase your tickets now before they sell out! Approved Snack List ReminderWe are "nut aware" campus and students should not bring in food or candy with nuts, peanut butter, tree nuts, etc to give out to others. Please see the Approved Snack list for appropriate items. Advisory Pop Tab CompetitionThe advisory pop tab competition is back! This school year there will be two winners--one per semester-- and the advisory that has collected the most pop tabs by December will earn their reward. These pop tabs will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House, which will then be recycled in exchange for money. This raises thousands of dollars for the RMDH each year! The Ronald McDonald House provides economic aid and housing for families with critically ill children. If you have any questions feel free to contact Jane McClary. Thank you!
