Enrollment Procedures

Information about the enrollment process if your child attended O'Quinn School.

Enrollment Instructions for Families New to Porter-Gaud or O'Quinn

1. Activate Your Blackbaud Account:

Each parent in the household must create an account. (Our contracts require dual signatures for households with two parents or guardians, so each parent must complete the steps listed below, each using a unique email address.) 

1. Please click here to go to Porter-Gaud’s website. Look for the “For Parents” section in the navigation Menu

2. Please select the MyPG button.

3. Log into MyPG by entering your email address as your user name, and click “Next.” 

  

4. Click continue.

5. Create Your ID by choosing one of the following options:  

  • Option 1: Create an account - Enter a password, your first and last name, then select “sign up.” 
  • Option 2: Sign up with Google - If your MyPG email is a Gmail account, you may select the “Sign up with Google” button and authenticate through Google. If you choose this option, you will sign in using credentials managed by you in your personal Google account, and the school will not be able to help you reset passwords.


6.  The system will ask you to confirm your email address within 24 hours. Please look for an email similar to the one in the screenshot below and click “Confirm.” Once this step is complete, you will use this email address as your username to log into MyPG. 

 

2. Access and Submit the Contract and Deposit

Once logged in, you will choose a payment plan, pay a 10% deposit using ACH (bank draft) or credit card, and initial, sign and submit the contract. If you have questions, please contact Ken Hyde, Assistant Head of School for Enrollment Management and Parent Relations, at khyde@portergaud.edu. 

  • Click here to access your child’s contract.
  • Log in and click the yellow banner across the top of the page.
  • Your first question will be, “Do you have an existing Tuition Management Account? Please click the Thumbs Down, "No,..." 
  • When you complete the contract and sign, you will see a confirmation page.  Please click the blue “Thank You” button. 
Troubleshooting

If you have trouble logging into MyPG: 

Make sure you log into MyPG at https://portergaud.myschoolapp.com (not www.blackbaud.com).

  • Make sure you use your email address as your username. 
  • Search “portergaud.myschoolapp.com” and delete autofill suggestions for this website. This prevents your web browser from trying to log you in using previously saved MyPG account information.
  • Clearing your cache can fix login troubles when you change login usernames. Below is a list of help pages to assist you in clearing your browser history and deleting your browser cache and cookies for several web browsers:
If you get an error message
  • If you get a message that says “user account does not exist,” your web browser was used to login to a student's Blackbaud account in the past. Look for a window that says "continue with (Microsoft) login or use another email address" and click the “use another email” button. If you want to login to different Blackbaud accounts on the same web browser, set up different profiles or use incognito/private mode. Alternatively, clear the web browser cache and search for and delete autofill entries to remove student login info.
  • If you get a message that says "user already exists," go to the login page, enter your email address, and click the “forgot password” button. You will receive an email with a password reset link.

Enrollment Instructions for Current Porter-Gaud Families

1. Steps for Enrollment

Please click here to log in to the Parent Portal to review and sign your child(s) contract(s).

  1. Once you have logged in, a yellow banner will appear at the top of the page. Please click "Contract to Accept". 

  2. Click "Review"

  3. Please select "Yes I already have a Tuition Management Account" and use your Tuition Management credentials to log in and complete the deposit transaction. Please note that the payment method you select before reviewing your contract will become your payment method for tuition payments.  You will have the option to use a different payment method to pay your deposit. Please note that you must select the same payment plan if you will be enrolling multiple children for the 24-25 school year.

  4. Once logged in, you will choose a payment plan, pay a 10% deposit using ACH (bank draft) or credit card, and initial, sign and submit the contract. You will have 10 days to submit the contract and deposit. The deadline for submission is Monday, February 26, 2024.   5. Please proceed through the required steps and after reviewing the terms please click submit.
