Highlights from the Week

It was another incredible week for Cyclone athletics, with our student-athletes giving it their all! Check out a few highlights below: 

• Cross Country - The Cyclones had a successful meet at the Heathwood Hall Highlander Invitational last Saturday. Check out the latest social post here.  
• Varsity Girls Tennis - View photos of the match vs. Oceanside Academy here.  
• Varsity Football – Last Friday varsity football beat Philip Simmons, 35-7. This week they travel to Augusta Christian for a 7:30 p.m. game. 
• Swim  – On Saturday, the swim team will host James Island and Trinity at North Bridge Terrace at 8:00 a.m.
• Varsity Girls Golf - The team headed to the Charleston Classic Invitational on Monday and plays Palmetto Christian Academy this afternoon. 
• Volleyball - This weekend, Varsity Volleyball hosts its annual invitational beginning Friday at 4:30 pm. Games will start up again on Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m. and will run all day in the Wendell and Fishburne Gyms. 

Interest Meetings for Winter, Spring, and Year-Round Sports…more to come later this fall.

• Sailing and Sporting Clays: If your Upper School student missed the interest meeting, contact Coach Wilson to be added to the interest roster.
• Equestrian: Contact Coach Garcia at lgarcia@portergaud.edu if your 5th-12th grader is interested in joining the team.
• Varsity Boys Golf: There will be a meeting next Thursday, September 10, at 1:30 p.m. to discuss November tryouts. Please ensure your son attends.
• Upper School Boys Basketball (grades 8-12): We will have a quick meeting next Wednesday, September 9, during lunch in the Health Classroom. 
• Upper School Girls Basketball (grades 8-12): We will have a quick meeting next Thursday, September 10, at 3:30 p.m. in the Health Classroom

Athletic Tickets

We will now use Hudl’s online ticketing system for home athletic events where we collect an admission fee. All Porter-Gaud students and faculty members are admitted to athletic events free of charge and do not need to reserve advance tickets. All other visitors may purchase tickets in advance, scan a QR code at the gate, or pay cash. 

Season Tickets

Porter-Gaud also offers a season pass, which gives you up to four tickets to every home sporting event. Click here to learn more and purchase season tickets. Please note that these passes do not work for playoff games, and tickets must be purchased separately for postseason events.
