The 2026 Semi-Formal will take place on Saturday, January 24, at the Music Farm (32 Ann Street). Students may arrive beginning at 7:30 p.m., and the doors will close at 8:15 p.m. As per our policy, students will be required to remain at the dance until the conclusion at 10 p.m. Click here for additional details, including parking information. Tickets are being sold online here until the end of day on Friday, January 23.

International Holocaust Remembrance Assembly Tuesday
On Tuesday, January 27, the Upper School will gather for Porter-Gaud’s inaugural International Holocaust Remembrance Assembly during a special assembly period. The Jewish Culture Dialogue Group organizes the assembly in collaboration with the Office of Community Engagement and Wellness. As an Episcopal school, we are grounded in the belief that every human being carries inherent dignity and worth. Remembering the Holocaust is one way we live out that commitment. It reminds us of the consequences of dehumanization, the danger of hatred when it becomes normalized, and the moral responsibility to resist indifference.

The program is designed for the Upper School audience and has been carefully reviewed by Porter-Gaud’s Office of Community Engagement and Wellness. Faculty will be present throughout the assembly, and counselors, chaplains, teachers, and members of the Community Engagement and Wellness team will be available to support students who may have questions or need additional space for reflection afterward.

We recognize that students may experience a range of emotions during this assembly, and we appreciate your partnership in supporting meaningful learning and reflection.
