Fall Halloween Festival
october 28, 2022
The Lower School Fall Halloween Festival will take place on Friday, October 28, during the school day. The celebration will include costumes, a DJ disco “Cake Walk," carnival games, a dunk tank, inflatables, candy treats, snow cones, popcorn, and more! First and second graders will attend the celebration from 9-10 a.m. Third and fourth graders will attend the celebration from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
What we need from our families:
- Volunteers. There are many opportunities to get involved, from donating candy to bringing cupcakes and cookies for the “Cake Walk” to volunteering on the day of the event. We'd love to have your help! Please note that ONLY Fall Festival volunteers and 1st grade parents will be able to be on campus for the Halloween Celebration. If you would like to volunteer to collect cupcakes and cookies on Thursday, October 27, during carpool or on the day of the Fall Festival, Friday, October 28, you can sign up for a specific time and activity here: Halloween Celebration Volunteer Sign-Up Genius.
- Candy and Decorations. We still need some additional items to help make the campus and event look spooky, and we also need donations for safe, nut-free candy options for our treat bags! Please see this Amazon link to help support the event: Porter-Gaud Amazon Candy Wish List.
- Costumes and First Grade Costume Parade. All Lower School students are encouraged to wear a costume to school on Friday, October 28. First graders will lead a parade around the Green with our seniors and other Lower School students at 10:45 a.m. First-grade and senior parents are invited to attend this special Halloween tradition.
See you there!
